Bring our expertise to your door
If you have several members of staff who require training in any of the subject areas we provide, this is a far more cost effective option, and each course can be tailored to suit the requirements of your organisation. It also saves you the cost, and your staff the inconvenience of travelling or an overnight stay.
-
We provide the trainer, and the written notes
-
You provide the participants, arrange the venue and refreshments to your own requirements
Which Courses Can Be Run In-house?
All the courses can be delivered on an in-house basis, and we also offer the following five courses, which can be tailored to meet your own local training needs, solely for in-house training:
Carers’ Assessments: Good Practice
Carers Awareness & Assessment
Carers Awareness for Primary Care & Health Staff
'Is it Lawful?' Developing & Maintaining Lawful Policies & Practice incommunity Care Law
Social Services Complaints (Training for Panel Members & Chairs)
Back to Work: Overcoming the Barriers
Making Employment Work for Carers
Why Choose These Courses?
-
at a practice level, you may want participants to work with case studies from their own experience or caseload
-
at a policy level, you may want to use the sessions to examine your own systems and procedures
We can also develop new courses in conjunction with your organisation.
Fees
In the case of a Statutory Organisation booking an in-house course at the standard fee of £1,284 this would average out to just over £64.20 per person (where the maximum 20 participants attend). The savings for a voluntary organisation would be even greater. The only travel and accommodation costs you would need to cover would be those of the visiting trainer.
If you are a small organisation with only a few members of staff, you may find it beneficial to make a booking in partnership with other local organisations, in order to share the costs and benefit from the wider range of knowledge and skills found in a more diverse group.
Fees
Fees for in-house training until 31 March 2009 start from
Voluntary Sector £1123

Fees for in-house training from 1 April 2010 start from

Trainers' expenses are in addition to the prices quoted above. An additional fee may be charged for any tailoring required.
We usually recommend a maximum of 20 people per course. However, most trainers will train larger groups by arrangement. A fee of £50 per additional participant is charged for groups larger than 20.
