Training in Wales
Carers Wales provides training to health and social services professionals. This training is directly applicable to Wales. It is designed to raise awareness of carers and to encourage best practice when carers' needs are being assessed. For more information, contact us at info@carerswales.org.uk.
Alternatively, you may want to explore the option of in-house training, provided from the Carers UK Training Unit.
Carers UK has had extensive experience since 1995 of providing high quality courses for health and social care professionals, advice workers, employers, lawyers and others who work with carers.
Law Society Accreditation
The Training Unit is accredited by The Institute of Legal Executives and The Law Society. Our legal courses carry Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours. Trainees attending legal courses can claim up to 5 hours for a one-day course as shown in the individual course outlines.
