Local Council Elections 2008
On the 1st May 2008, your local councillors will face an election to hold on to their seats. Carers Wales and Wales Carers Alliance have developed a carers' Manifesto called A Fair Deal for Carers which is based on a questionnaire that carers completed for the Assembly elections last year.
With local councils cutting back on services for you and the people you look after, it is important that whenever you come into contact with a candidate hat you ask them about their party's policies on carers issues and what they will do for you.
